I have had many years training in dealing with trauma, loss/bereavement, jealousy and abandonment. I began by studying the work of C.G Jung at the Thomas Aquinas Academy, in addition to running re-educational workshops in Sydney, Australia.

I have studied and received training at various institutes including The CG Jung Institute (Switzerland) and the Tavistock and Portman (NHS Trust). In addition to humanistic counselling, CBT and EMDR therapy, existential psychotherapy and Lacanian psychoanalysis. I pursued an ongoing academic and practical interest in creative writing, theatre, film and dance together with their uses in psychotherapy.

 

In addition to my private practice with individuals, couples and groups, I have had the privilege of working with and learning from patients in prisons, hospices, children's homes, and in various clinical settings including Guy's Hospital and the Marie Curie Palliative Care Trust, including working in a Naturopathic Hospice where complementary medicine, nutrition, massage and creative writing/story telling was an essential part of the therapy and care.

I am presently at the Sevenoaks Integrated Health Centre, where I practice Individual Counselling, Couple Relationship Therapy and work with Grief and Bereavement..

A particular interest is working with clients suffering from ‘Matters of the Heart’ dealing with all the issues involved in the breakdown of a relationship. Including rejection/abandonment, Co-dependency, jealously and betrayal. Love and loss.
